Barry Hall knocks out Brent Stacker last year

AFL star Barry Hall has left the Sydney Swans mid-season after 10 days of dialogue between team management and the hard hitting full-forward couldn’t save his career.

It is obvious the star is no longer wanted or needed by the Sydney Swans and the latest on-field incident involving 32-year-old Hall may have sealed his fate. In  his 250th match in the AFL, Barry Hall was again in the bad books for punching Adelaide Crows player Ben Rutten.

Why Would Ben Cousins Flip the Bird?

Cousins saying hello to the television audience

Ben Cousins has hit the news again for all the wrong reasons. This time it isn’t for another drug incident, or a run-in with Western Australian Police or for skipping rehab.

In  Saturday’s Australian Football League (AFL) match between Richmond and Freemantle, Cousins looked straight down the barrel of a dressing shed camera and flipped the bird.  In my opinion it was a clear and deliberate act and not something meant as a light-hearted joke.
