Aerial Combat Flight

The combat formation flight is performed with two, three or four CJ-6A Nanchangs. At the beginning of your flight you will experience the art of close formation as practiced by the air forces of the world. Then it's time to split the formation. The fight is on! Diving and turning to gain position behind the opposing aircraft, your pilot will take you on an amazing aerial combat adventure, using real military rules and procedures. While you are in the air your pilot will also explain the tactics being used by each of the crew members. This is not a simulator or computer game - this is the real thing! And your safety and comfort is paramount. This is the most fun that we had in the air force and now we can share it with you! This aircraft is still in use, being employed by several air forces in training military pilots around the world. Your flight will conclude with an amazing low-level run over the reef. Air Combat USA - Basic Air Combat Manoeuvres

Experience first-hand the thrill and excitement of flying a light attack fighter in air- to-air combat. Phase I provides an introduction to the Tactical Fighter Manoeuvres (TFM-l) and is a half day course (approx 2½ - 3 hours). When you arrive you will be suited up in a flight suit, parachute & helmet. Then it is off to the mission briefing, where you learn the tactics and manoeuvres, safety brief, rules of engagements and the physiological effects of g-forces. Fully briefed you'll climb into the aircraft alongside your instructor. With your hands on the controls you will engage in six 'g-pulling' dogfights. Your flight will be recorded on video tape and reviewed in a flight debriefing. Groups are welcome. Bring a friend and settle the score. It is manoeuvred by the stick grip complete with gun trigger identical to the F4 Phantom. The pilot and guest-pilot sit side-by-side with dual controls. The History of Fighter Jets

Jet Fighters became popular towards the end of World War II. Production of the fighters began in the 1940s, however this was too late for them to have a major impact on the result of War.

The first operational jet fighter was the Messerschmitt Me 262. The USA, UK, German and Japanese forces all developed squadrons of jet fighters at the end of the War.
